Who this policy covers

This policy covers PORTADOR websites, customer accounts and the PORTADOR Android app. PORTADOR Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for the information it collects for these services. Shipment recipients should be informed when their details are supplied to us.

Account and sign-in data

• We use your name, email, mobile number and company details to provide your account and support. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords.
• When you choose Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn sign-in where available, we use the provider's account identifier and permitted basic name/email details to authenticate you. We do not request your provider password, contacts or social posts.
• Security cookies, authentication records and limited technical logs protect sessions, prevent abuse and investigate failures. Mobile verification is separate from any KYC review.

Shipment and identity information

• We use sender and recipient contact details, addresses, cargo descriptions, dimensions, weights, declared values and instructions to quote, coordinate, deliver and support shipments.
• Billing, payment references, invoices and shipment records support accounting, refunds, claims and applicable legal obligations.
• Upload only documents requested for the stated shipment or identity purpose. Where an individual identity document is requested, the form offers alternatives including passport and masked Aadhaar. Do not upload unnecessary full Aadhaar numbers or unrelated sensitive information.
• The Android 0.7 release uses typed address selection and does not request device-location permission. Addresses and locations you enter are still used to fulfil your request.

Cookies and optional analytics

Essential cookies enable accounts and forms. On portador.in, optional website analytics load only after you allow them in Privacy preferences. You can decline or change that choice at any time using the Privacy preferences control. Declining does not stop booking or account access. The PORTADOR Android app is excluded from this optional analytics integration. Provider login and external websites have their own privacy notices.

Recipients and service providers

We disclose relevant shipment information to pickup/delivery partners, airlines, cargo terminals and other operational providers as needed for the requested service. Technology providers process information for hosting, database storage, authentication and communications. Current infrastructure includes Vercel and Supabase; optional website analytics uses Google Analytics. Information may be processed outside India according to provider arrangements and applicable law. We may disclose records to authorised public authorities or advisers where legally necessary. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and account deletion

• You can start account deletion at https://ops.portador.in/customer/delete-account or through Account security. A recent sign-in and explicit confirmation protect against accidental or unauthorised deletion; mobile verification is not required.
• Deletion removes login credentials, linked sign-in identities, sessions, saved addresses, profile KYC uploads and non-shipment support records. Contact and address details are removed from the customer profile.
• A minimal customer reference may remain with shipment records. Shipment, invoice, payment, shipment-specific document and dispute records remain only as needed for fulfilment, statutory recordkeeping, claims or other legal obligations. Account deletion does not cancel existing shipments, debts or refunds.
• Retention depends on the record type and applicable obligation. You may request a review of retained information and the reason for retention through our privacy contact. Backup copies are subject to the relevant backup-retention cycle and must not be restored for ordinary account use.

Choices and requests

You can request access, correction, deletion or review of information through our privacy contact, subject to applicable law and proportionate identity verification. You may withdraw optional consent, including analytics consent, without losing unrelated services. Where information is necessary to perform a shipment or meet a legal duty, withdrawing it may prevent that particular service. We explain the reason when a request cannot be fully fulfilled.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS and operational safeguards to protect information. Never share passwords or verification codes with support. Restrict documents to what is necessary. No system is risk-free; report suspected unauthorised access promptly using the contact below.

Updates

We publish material changes on this page with an updated date. Where a new use requires consent, we will request it rather than treating continued website use as blanket consent.
